Kuih Muih Melayu

Pasar Ramadhan

Puasa and Hari Raya may just be a couple of months away but the activity around the months is clearly heating up. Those in the clothing business are scrambling to get their line of clothing out by now, be the early bird and catch the momentum now as the auspicious months draws nearer. Buyers are beginning to buy now although not frantic yet but still they are buying. Cookies suppliers are in a rush too, perfecting receipe and collecting orders. Those with new products are in the que, food tasting, promotion and more food tasting. Kuih muih business is a never ending process of food tasting, free samples and collecting feedback.

KweMwe is not going to do any restaurants business this year but rather do what we did not do last year. I am going to take on the Pasar Ramadhan. I have a spot which has been offered to me, seriously considering it but I think I should also explore other locations. I am sure I can make it this year. If ever this fasting month is going to be the yardstick in our kuih muih business and if it is as good as I think, Im taking the plunge and move forward even more aggressively. Well........we'll see how it goes yay!
