Insyallah Ramadhan and puasa will begin on August 1st, 2011. KweMwe is ready for its first ever Bazaar Ramadhan at Section 5, Kota Damansara. We have bought the tent 8ft x 8ft, 2 tables, containers for all the kuih with covers, dustbins, packaging materials using brown paper bags and cutting down the use of plastics wherever we can, even designed our own KweMwe apron, cloths for wipings, biodegradable plastic glove, lables for the kuih, etc...etc.We have some new traditional kuih too to be introduced, a couple of pengat, talam ubi in small containers and maybe some not so traditional cakes like baked caramel and red velvets. These new introductions are all homemade and made in small quantities. So if any one of you happen to be in the vicinity of Kota Damansara drop by Section 5 and check us out. We are at Lot No. 10.
Oh! another thing that is new. We have come up with our flyers in full colors albiet some final amendments. I would put it here for preview but can't seemed to post a pdf file in blogspot. Flyers will be distributed at the bazaar. Other than that we shall stop all deliveries to restaurants and direct customers for the duration of Ramadhan. You can order the kuih if you want but you have to come to the bazaar to collect it yourself. I will be so buzy with the cakes and setting up the bazaar everyday and we so short handed.
